My laptop is currently a little dead (a lot dead, it’s in the shop) and I won’t be getting it back for another week at least. This means no video for sure on Sunday (all my footage is on the computer, plus I need it for editing!) and it almost meant no recipe post today.
However, I realised I could whip up this post reasonably quickly. I’ve already done one smoothie bowl post, but here’s a three different ones you whip up when you’re jonsing for that morning ice cream.
Blueberry Blues

You will need:
- Two frozen bananas, chopped
- 1/3-1/2c frozen blueberries
- 1/3c almond milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1/2 tsp cacao powder
Pop into a food processor and blend for 2-3 minutes.

Here I’ve topped it with hemp seeds, a little of my homemade granola, and some cacao nibs.
Mad Mango

You will need:
- Two frozen bananas, chopped
- 1 fresh mango
- 1/4c almond milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1/2 lemon juice
If you can’t get a hold of fresh mango, use frozen — but swap one frozen banana for a fresh one. It’s mostly just for the consistency more than anything else. Pop it all into a food processor and blend for 2-3 minutes.

I topped mine with some more fresh mango (this was a delicious kind from Pakisan), some hemp seeds and my homemade granola again.
Pinker Than Thou

You will need:
- Two frozen bananas, chopped
- 2/3-1c frozen mixed berries
- 1/3c almond milk (or milk of your choice)
- a knob of ginger, grated
Pop into a food processor and blend for 2-3 minutes. This recipe is basically the same as my Berry Smoothie Bowl, although that also had some lemon juice in it.

I was using a glass tupperware container here because I wanted to take this into the office with me for breakfast. I topped it with hemp seeds and a pistachio buckwheat granola. This granola isn’t my recipe, it’s from Caitlin Shoemaker on YouTube. It’s not my favourite, to be honest, and I want to share my own buckwheat granola in the future that I enjoy more.
Let me know if you have any questions!
As always, bilafiya (well wishes and wellbeing)
