Healthy Salted Maple Pecans

I love how easy these are to make, and if you bake them just right then not a lot can beat them in flavour and freshness. I constantly get requests for these and when I make them they disappear quick — from my two-year-old sister to my colleagues.

 

Healthy Salted Maple Pecans

Serves: 1 1/2 cups
An incredibly delicious, simple, 10-minute recipe for some slightly sweet pecans to have on hand for snacking pleasure
Ingredients
  • 200g pecans
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp coconut or olive oil
  • Some cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Mix all your ingredients together.
  2. Place on lined baking tray.
  3. Bake at 170C/340F for 6-8 minutes.
  4. Let it cool slightly and enjoy! These keep well for a couple of weeks.
Notes
I usually use one or 1 1/2 tbsp of maple syrup, but obviously the more you use the sweeter it’ll be. I wouldn’t recommend more than 3 at most unless you want them more candied rather than slightly sweet
