This flatbread recipe is unbelievable — incredibly simple, vegan, and tastes completely delicious with a tang that comes from the soy yoghurt (you can sub for any thick yoghurt of choice). It takes just ten minutes to whip up and so is a perfect accompaniment to almost any dinner. If I’m not too lazy to make this on a night that I had a migraine and had come home sick, you’re definitely capable of making it!

Incredibly quick and easy naan recipe that you can whip up for dinner — it’s a personal favourite and I’m honestly never too lazy to make it, it’s just that simple!
Ingredients
- 9 tbsp of spelt flour*
- 3 tbsp of soy yoghurt**
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp of sea salt
- 1 tsp of dried basil (optional, you can add other flavours too)
Instructions
- Mix the dry ingredients together first, then mix in the yoghurt and olive oil and knead well for 3-5 minutes.
- Divide into 3 generous naans or 4 smaller portions.
- Roll out thinly, to about 0.5cm
- In a very hot pan, add a little bit of olive oil (very little, I wipe off excess with some kitchen roll) and pop each naan on there for 2-3 minutes each side, until it starts to char nicely
Notes
*you can sub for wheat or wholewheat flour, gluten-free flour, and similar; I don’t recommend you use things like quinoa or coconut flour here[br]**you can substitute your preferred yoghurt
