Laylat al-Qadr, in English as Night of Destiny or Night of Decree, is a night believed by Muslims to be when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The night is not comparable to any other, and cannot be equalled even by worshipping an entire lifetime. The rewards of one night’s prayer is more than 1,000 months (83 years, ie approximately a human lifetime) of prayer and worship.
